Guest Speaker is Susan Rossiter.

Susan’s paint & paper assemblages are inspired by colors, shapes, and patterns of the 50’s through the 70’s. This inspiration started with studies of mid-century textile designers like Jacqueline Groag and Vera Neumann which led to more current artists such as Junko Oki and Rex Ray.

Susan’s been a DAAL member and volunteer since 2018, She’s with Studios on High Gallery and is a certified Artist Educator for GOLDEN Paints with a diverse client base including Nationwide Insurance, and the Smithsonian Docent Program.

She’s been painting and identifying as an artist since she was a child. Education has been ongoing and includes six years of fine art studies at Millersville University in Pennsylvania, but her art adventures have taken her all over the country.

This month, Susan’s going to share her art journey with us and she’s bringing some fun materials so everyone can create a little textured landscape and sample some Golden products.
